Tall Timbers Calling (song lyrics)

Tall timbers calling, and the echoes ring
All nature sings a song along the timber trail.

Blue shadows falling on the canyon pale
And the whisp'rin' pines entwine along the timber trail.

While high above, the love song of the trees
Will wend and blend it's way out on the breeze....

Talk timbers calling and the echoes ring
All nature sings a song along the timber trail.

  1. Dorothy- I love your memories of Zoar Valley. We are desperately trying to find the lyrics to the shiney einy miney ish me qui quia song. My mom sang it to us. She died suddenly and unexpectedly in April. She attended in 1950’s to 60’s. I believe they have changed the lyrics. Can you help us? We have some of it, but are missing a few lines. Thank you!

  3. The late Ranger Brubaker (who just about every camper loved) in Yosemite taught this song to us back in the 60s.

  4. I was a Brownie and a Girl Scout back in the 50s when I learned this song. I went to Chalk Hills Girl Scout camp in Wisconsin. I have the fondest of memories.
